All of Houston is experiencing a period of explosive growth and with this growth comes dynamic opportunities for businesses and individuals alike. Southeast Houston is growing at a tremendous rate. New home construction, retail space and employment are all skyrocketing. Renovations and beautification of the main corridors of traffic are laying the foundation for a revitalized Houston area.
The Management District has
twelve directors who were appointed by the Texas
Legislature. When their term expires, the mayor and city
council appoints directors recommended by the Board of
Directors. Board members must be southeast Houston residents,
property owners, or agents of property owners. The Board is
responsible for approving and monitoring the programs
undertaken by the District.
The Board holds their regular meetings on the second Wednesday of
each month at 12:00 pm in the District office located at 5445 Almeda Rd (map).
